This handmade book depicts the transformation of my relationship with my mother during my growth stage. Her protection, control, and companionship during my childhood made me very dependent on her. Then the family question in adolescence intensified the contradiction and estrangement between her and me. Later, we had further communication and mutual understanding after we found that my physical defect required surgery. The eventual recovery from surgery foreshadows the healing and balance of our relationship.
